How does the Klarvy time clock work?

Employees can punch in 3 ways: a physical clock placed in the hotel (lobby/reception), a mobile app on their smartphone, or a tablet at the workstation. All punches flow into the same Klarvy record. Face recognition and GPS support to prevent buddy punching.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. The Klarvy app is available for iOS and Android, in English, Hebrew, and Arabic. An employee can punch in and out, view their schedule, swap shifts with colleagues, and see their hours balance in real time. Each action is subject to manager approval as needed.

How do you handle employees who forgot to punch?

The system automatically detects when an employee forgot to punch (no clock-out for a completed shift). The manager gets an alert and can perform a "manual correction" with full documentation, including employee approval, when corrected, and by whom. Everything is preserved for future audit.

Is the system compliant with Israeli labor laws?

Completely. Klarvy automatically calculates the hospitality sector expansion order, Saturday premiums (150% / 175%), holidays, overtime (125% up to the ninth hour, 150% beyond), vacation, sick leave, and more. If you're approaching a cap, you'll be alerted before it happens.
